Diode is a two-terminal electronic component, and the conduction current is mainly in one direction (asymmetric conductivity); It has low resistance in one direction (ideally zero) and high resistance in the other direction (ideally infinite). Diode vacuum tube or thermionic diode is a vacuum tube with two electrodes, a heated cathode and a plate, in which electrons can only flow from the cathode to the plate in one direction. A semiconductor diode, the most commonly used type today, is a semiconductor material with a pn junction connected to two electrical terminals.
What is a triode?
The full name of triode is semiconductor triode, also known as bipolar transistor and crystal triode, which is a semiconductor device for controlling current. Its function is to amplify the weak signal into an electrical signal with a larger amplitude, and it is also used as a contactless switch.
What is the rectifier bridge?
The rectifier bridge generally has enough inductive load, so the rectifier bridge does not have current discontinuity. In general, the rectifier bridge is often connected with a smoothing reactor at its load end, so its load can be regarded as a constant current source. Multiple groups of three-phase rectifier bridges are connected to each other, so that the harmonics generated by the rectifier bridge circuit cancel each other. According to the type of rectifier transformer, it can be divided into traditional multi-pulse transformer rectifier and auto-coupled multi-pulse transformer rectifier. The traditional multi-pulse transformer rectifier uses isolation transformer to realize the isolation of input voltage and output voltage, but the equivalent capacity of rectifier transformer is large and bulky.
